Dear Streethunters.net Readers,

December 2016 has come to an end. It is time to announce the winner of the December 2016 Monthly Theme Contest!

The theme of the contest was “Woman” and we had asked you all to send in photos of women. You responded by sending in 58 great photographs! Thank you all for submitting your lovely work!

As per the rules of the contest, the 3 editors of the Streethunters.net website Andrew Sweigart, Digby Fullam and myself, chose one photo each. The next step was to select the very best one of the three and present it here to you.

So, the lucky winner of the December 2016 Monthly Theme Contest is Daniel Tschitsch and this is his photograph.

Dear Streethunters.net Readers,

The twelfth Monthly Theme Contest photos have been submitted and we took a good look at them all and finally made our choices. Please keep in mind that the process of selecting a photo is very difficult and challenging owing to the high standard of the photos entered!

First of all let’s take a look at all the photos that were submitted and accepted in this Monthly Theme Contest.

ATTENTION: Photos that didn’t meet the Theme criteria have been disqualified by the editors. Please make sure to read the requirements carefully before submitting an image

At this moment I would like to thank each and every participant for submitting their photograph. We have a great collection of photos with “Woman” to show you! This time we had a whopping 58 valid submissions which can all be seen here:

Monthly Theme Contest - Woman

Hello Streethunters.net Readers!

As mentioned in previous post “Announcing the New Monthly Theme Contest Rules“, this year we have made some changes to the contests that we have every month. The new rules are also included in this post and will be included in each contest post from now on. For your convenience, here are the new rules:

New Rules

So, from now on, you will be asked to submit your photos, just as you always did but we will not select the TOP 10 and share them with you so you can vote for your favourite. What we will do is share ALL photos with you and we will then each pick a personal favourite photo. Then Andrew picks one, Digby picks one and I pick one. The 3 photos we select are presented as the month’s finalists and are announced sometime in the middle of each month. 10-15 days later, we announce the winning photo of the 3 finalists.

Poll for the Monthly Theme Contest

Dear StreetHunters.net Readers!

The time has come for you to vote for the best “Woman” Street Photograph!

This month’s contest had by far the most submissions! Thank you all for your participation! Because of the large amount of photos we received, it took as a little more that usual to make a short list of the 10 best ones. You guys and girls, sent in so many amazing captures, so many smashing photos. We appreciate it very much that you shared your amazing work with us! Unfortunately we could not keep them all.

Thank you all for your participation!

Following the same method as previous months, we have uploaded the images for the Theme contest into a lightbox gallery and under each image we have placed a name (label) that works as a unique identifier. So, what you have to do is to write down or remember the unique identifier of the image you like the most and then vote for that image in the poll below.

As always, we haven’t got any names under the photos. The reason for this is to keep the voting as unbiased as possible.

November Theme Contest 2014

Dear StreetHunters.net Readers!

It is time for the Monthly Theme Contest for November 2014! The Monthly Theme Contest is a fun activity that anyone can participate in! Every month we choose a Theme. What we ask is for you our StreetHunters.net Readers to participate by each sending to us a Street Photograph at streethunters.net@gmail.com based on that Monthly Theme. So for example if the theme is Puddles, then we would like you to each send a photo with a Puddle moment. Your photo can be taken any time in history, we don’t mind, as long as it has been taken by you and nobody else. Once you send us your picture, we will decide which are the 5 or 6 or 10 best ones and we will post them on our website.
