Hello Streethunters.net Readers!

A few words about the Monthly Theme Contests

It is time for the Monthly Theme Contest for July 2018! The Monthly Theme Contests are a fun challenge for all! Every month we choose a Theme and we ask you to participate by each sending us one Street Photograph each time at streethunters.net@gmail.com. That photos must be based on the Monthly Theme. So for example if the theme is Silhouettes, then we would like you to each send a photo with a Silhouette moment. Your photo can be taken any time in history, we don’t mind, as long as it has been taken by you and nobody else.

What Is This Month’s Theme?

This month we would like to ask you to participate with Street Photos of “Night Street Photography”. We would like you to send in street photos featuring night scenes without a flash. Dig up your best shots or go and hunt for some news ones! Please send in clever photos shot during the night without a flash. We look forward to seeing what you will send in!

Please follow the example of the photo we are sharing with you here.

Tzen Sing Street Hunters Interview 1

Introduction

As Fall arrived in September of 2017, the temperatures started to cool, but the competition in our Monthly Theme Contests surely did not. The previous eight months had given us outstanding work from winners Roy Rozanski, Kristof Vande Velde, Christoph Wuzella, Sreejith Kaviyil, Zlatko Vickovic, Svilen NachevConstantinos Arvanitis and Jasmin Gendron. The quality of the work has made choosing a victor all the more challenging, and left us anxious to see what the next month’s theme would yield.

September marked the end of our five-month long run on color themes. The harvest month’s theme was perhaps the most challenging color yet… pink! How would this passionate color feature in a winning shot? Again, we were awash in a sea of spectacular color and the selection process was gloriously arduous. After the voting, it was the wildly talented Tzen Xing who captured the title for the month!
