Inside João Teixeira’s Camera bag! (Bag No143)
Hello Street Hunters,
My name is João Teixeira, I’m from Lisbon, Portugal and i am a graphic designer.
I like photojournalism, travel, documentary and street photography. The streets are the most accessible subject for me, since i use public transport in my way to work. It is mainly during this time that i try to do some streetphotography. That’s why my camera bag is also my lunch bag, and instead of having some fancy accessories, i carry a fork, a knife and some fruit.
I started to shoot the streets in 2013 with a DSLR and a 50mm equivalent prime but the weight and size started to annoy me. I don’t shoot every day, and i never know if i am gonna have the time and the will for taking photos. The Fuji x100s is a camera that i can have with me always, and I’d rather prefer to carry it and take no photos than wanting to take a photo and having no camera.
I am still trying to find a path and defining my style, until then, i can only practise and learn.
