Hi, Street Hunters,

I’m Hedy Bach, an image-maker and visual researcher. I explore my understandings of human desire for settlement in spaces and places through documentary, street and conceptual bodies of work. With photography I study how the world around me looks and sounds through ordinary harmony and fittingness of beauty. I study why beauty matters. Working daily with my camera and with words I compose “thought things” as a way to form ideas and to arouse reflection and rumination; perhaps even start a conversation. My work has been exhibited in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
