Opening Monday, June 19th is an exhibition which features photographers from three of the most recent European Capitals Of Culture in the beautiful city of Paphos in Cyprus!

In & At Photo is a collaboration of the European Capitals of Culture: San Sebastian 2016, Pafos 2017, Aarhus 2017 and Hull 2017. The In & At exhibition is a result of an exchange programme of European Capitals of Culture that started in Donostia 2016, inviting a photographer from the European Capitals of Culture 2017, Aarhus and Pafos, as well as a photographer from Hull, UK City of Culture 2017. Photographers, among which Maite Basterra from San Sebastian and Thanos Savvidis from Pafos, participated in this residence exchange programme, aiming to find common context between their cities through photography. The In & At Photo Exhibition will present photographs Maite Basterra created during her residency in Pafos based on the memories of Cypriot refugees, and photographs Thanos Savvidis made in San Sebastian which were influenced by his own experiences and memories of his hometown Pafos. The exhibition also includes projections of photographs by the other participants of In & At: Ditte Haarløv Johnsen from Denmark, Andrea Lea Ingebrigtsen from Hull, and Vicky Mendiz from San Sebastian.

The exhibition opens Monday, June 19 at 8:00 PM and runs through Friday, June 30. It is located at the historic Shelley Residence and the hours are 5-8:00 PM daily.

In & At Exhibition Paphos

As a European Capital Of Culture for 2017, Paphos has hosted some wonderful events. The Months Of Photography Paphos has been one of particular note. This exhibition looks to carry on the tradition of great photography programs in the city. Do yourself a favor, and check it out!
