Extension of submissions for the February Theme Contest

Extension of submissions for the February Theme Contest

February Extension

Dear Streethunters.net Readers,

On the 3rd of February we posted the February 2016 Monthly Theme Contest that is called “Two worlds on one corner”. Since then we have received 15 submissions, but by the looks of it the theme we chose has proven to be a hard one to understand, since most of the photos we have got so far don’t totally fit the subject of the theme.

So, for this reason we have decided to give this month’s contest an extension. We will be extending the submissions for another week, until the 25th of February. That will give us 4 days to choose our favourite photos and finally the best overall photo.

Just to make sure there are no misunderstandings we are going to describe the theme of this month’s contest one more time.

What is this month’s Theme?

We would like you to take a photograph of a street corner, not a corner inside a department store and not a photo that isn’t a corner at all. So we want a street corner. And on that street corner we would like to see two stories unfolding, one story on each side of it. The more different the events of one side with the other side the better. In other words send in photographs that show what is happening on either side of a street corner. This is the photo we used as an example before.

Here are two more photos by the legendary Raymond Depardon that should give you a clear idea of what we are looking for.

So, grab your cameras and get out there. Find a corner and start shooting. Create a photograph with two stories and send it to us at  and get us excited! We literally can’t wait to see what you will shoot. The clock is ticking!

Stay Sharp & Keep Shooting!
