Please send in your Camera Bags!

Introduction

Dear Streethunter.net Readers,

More than a year ago we started sharing with you the contents of the camera bags that you have graciously been sharing with us. Every week we have been posting a new camera bag, each one completely different to the others. We have been intrigued by your setups and your gear selections and combinations. But most of all we’ve been excited because after each post we feel that we know one more of you just a little bit better. So, thank you all for sharing your bags with us, thank you for your support and your openness.

More than 1 year of camera bags!

The weekly post “What’s in your Camera Bag Street Hunters” is now at bag number 54! So, that is more than a year’s worth of camera bags! We have acquired a lovely collection and we really want to see it grow even more. All camera bags are accessible to all of you when visiting the “What’s in your Camera Bag?” section. If you feel like taking a look, go right ahead and jump in.

We need more camera bags!

Throughout the year that passed we made a few short announcements asking for more camera bags when we felt we were running out. You happily obliged and helped this very successful weekly to continue uninterrupted. It is now time for us to ask again for more camera bags. We have reached a point where we don’t have any more bags to share with you. We would love it if this weekly continued without stopping. As you dear Readers have proven with your visits to the website, you find this to be our most interesting weekly feature, so it would be great for us if we could continue to share bags with you. So, please send us your camera bags!

Can I send in my camera bag if it has changed?

We understand that camera bags change or evolve depending on our shooting styles and/or new habits or new gear. So, if you have already submitted a camera bag and feel that you would like to do so again, please don’t hesitate to send it in. What we ask is that you write a fresh piece of text in the introduction, the fresh list of items in your bag and that you provide us with a new photograph. Basically, you must submit as if you were submitting for the first time.

Please read below the Rules of Participation that we post in each and every “What’s in your Camera Bag?” post:

Rules of participation

Each person that submits the contents of his bag will also be allowed 150 words to describe her / him self to the rest of the StreetHunters.net Readers via the www.streethunters.net website pages! We will even allow one link, back to your website! It will be loads of fun! Why? Well, because we will start to get to know each other through these small 150 word descriptions and of course through the contents of each one’s bags! Now, when we say Camera Bag, it doesn’t have to literally be a bag. It could be a pouch, a backpack, pockets of a jacket, whatever. All we need is the list of all the contents and a photo of those contents on a wooden or carpeted (preferably) floor from above. What must be included in the email you send us? Here is the list of things you need to provide us with in order to have a valid entry:

  • 150 word description of yourself and your Street Photography quirks, habits, tips, whatever. 150 words MAX.
  • Photo of the contents of your bag and your bag next to those contents on a floor, shot from 90 degrees above. High quality, big size.
  • List of items included in your camera bag.
  • Link to your website OR blog OR facebook page OR GooglePlus page OR whatever.
  • A closing remark 20 words MAX. You can say for example something like Thank for letting me share the contents of my bag, now stop looking into my privates and go take some photos!

We thank you in advance for your participation and we are really looking forward to finding out what YOU are hiding in your camera bags! Send everything in at streethunters.net@gmail.com! Stay Sharp & Keep Shooting!
