A couple of weeks ago, we had posted that the 1st official StreetHunters.net Readers Exhibition was up and open to the public of Athens, Greece. Well, since then many people visited, enjoyed our collection and expressed their interest in our work.
Last night was the last night of the exhibition and we went and removed all the photos from the venue. It was a nice couple of weeks with some good exposure for the Street Hunters that participated and the Streethunters.net brand. It was a unique experience for us and we enjoyed every moment of it!
Having friends over
During a small opening we did 2 weeks ago, we had people visit and check out our international collection of photos. Here are some photographs we managed to capture during that day.
Some of us that could physically be there got photos with our shots, just to remember the experience. I have to admit, that seeing my works hanging on a wall, felt totally different than what I expected. It was a strong feeling of accomplishment, something that I have never felt by posting a photo on Social Media.
The next exhibition
Now that we have had a first experience putting something like this together, we aim to organise another exhibition in the future. We don’t know when or where just yet, but we will choose another European Capital for show No2. So, stay tuned!
If you have any ideas about where we could have the 2nd official StreetHunters.net Readers Exhibition, please don’t hesitate to share them here with us in the comments. Also, if you happen to know a gallery venue owner, or own a venue yourself, contact us directly. We will appreciate any help and information you might provide us with!
A special thanks
We would like to thank my mate Kyriakos Valsamis and my sister Amalia Papaspyropoulou for helping with the exhibition take down. Both Andrew and myself couldn’t be in Athens yesterday during the close of the exhibition, so the guys took care of everything for us. Thank you!
Stay Sharp & Keep Shooting!
