Announcing ‘Crit My Pic’!

New Feature - Crit My Pic

New Feature in Street Hunters

‘Crit My Pic’

In an effort to aid and abet Street Huner readers, Casper Macindoe will critique your submitted image. A visual critique from his perspective. Submission will be open for 48 hours and you can submit your image for review using the email on the contact page of the Street Hunters.net website. We have a feeling this maybe a popular feature on the site so only one image will be chosen per week and the resulting critique will be posted on the site. We won’t be charging for this service although it will take time and so if you do feel the urge to donate to the site – feel free. You can find donation buttons at the bottom of all pages.

Note from Casper

“Hi guys. As you may have already perceived from my own work I have a particular set of parameters which I feel comfortable with. These include tight composition, an adherence to finding light, and always an effort to finding a story. These are the kind of parameters I will use to suggest how to develop. I really hope this feature will firstly help you guys think about what images you are taking and how you would like to push your practice. I know it will help me.”

So, if you feel like you have a photograph that you are not 100% certain about, or if you would just like to see what Casper can say about your image, feel free to send your photos at contact@streethunters.net. Please note that if your photo is chosen the photo analysis made by Casper will be posted next week as a post for all StreetHunters.net Readers to read.

Our plans concerning this feature are:

  • Week 1 of each month, ask you to send in photos for Critique
  • Week 2 of each month, post the Critique of the selected image
  • Week 3 of each month, ask you to send in photos for Critique
  • Week 4 of each month, post the Critique of the selected image

So, this is week 1 of April and that means you can start sending in your photos from now and for the next 48 hours!

Stay Sharp & Keep Shooting!

P.S. This is not an April fools joke, it is real!
